Life Insurance Claims -
If a member has a question about a life insurance claim they may contact Standard customer service at (800) 628-8600. If an active member dies and you are a named beneficiary of their life insurance benefits, please contact the Insurance Trust Department as soon as possible. We will need a copy of the death certificate and other appropriate forms to file the claim. The Retirement Department can also discuss the alternatives available in regard to the active members' retirement account. These departments can also offer guidance about the data contained in the member's file if the beneficiary information is not known.
